Windshield Replacement
Windshield replacement takes special skill. The technician must be sure to prepare
the area properly, or the adhesive won’t stick. If not handled properly, the windshield
could easily break during installation.

ensuring that the job is done properly so that you do not have a problem with the
glass breaking.
Also, when removing the old glass, the windshield could further crack and possibly cut you if not done properly. If one little bit of adhesive is left on the glass when you pull it off the vehicle, you could run into problems.
Auto Glass Repair
We can repair some defects in auto glass, such as scratches and nicks. Scratches come from many things, but the most common are scratches from worn windshield wipers. You do not have to replace the entire windshield, unless the scratches are deep. When you first notice scratches, contact Glass Plus immediately before the scratches become too deep and we may be able to repair the scratches instead of replacing the entire glass.
Other types of scratching that we might be able to repair include etching from smog, mineralization from hard water, calcium deposit scratches, and, if you have laminated windows, delamination of the glass. Windshield repair encompasses the same techniques as auto glass repair.

We provide emergency services and take most insurance. Depending on the type of insurance you have, we may be able to replace your auto glass for no cost to you.
If the nick or chip is small enough, it can also be repaired, but you will still be able to see the nick or chip slightly.
If it is not in your field of vision, you can save money by having it repaired instead of replacing the entire windshield.
